A very popular, 'hip', place, We queued for around 15 minutes before being sat at a shared table (there were 5 of us and the table just about took 7, so we joined two diners already in place). The atmosphere was fun and lively. Service was quick and both friendly and helpful,
Two shared starters - chicken skewers and spring rolls - were both very good. I then had one of the specials - duck in a spicy sauce with rice and salad - which was good. My wife's Hanoi Pho and daughter's won ton soup were both fine, but a bit thin and, after all we had heard about the place, disappointing.
Drinks are good and well priced. The teas are interesting. The wine list is well chosen for Vietnamese food including a nice sauvignon blanc by the glass and a Riesling by the bottle.
'Fun rather than foodie' probably sums it up best,
