We visited this restaurant after reading good reviews about it, although I have to say we did not expect much as so up until yesterday we had not been able to find a very good Chinese restaurant in Berlin. Only ok ones. Well, Mind Dynastie is great! The staff is polite and friendly (some speak English too), we had a very sweet Dutch-Chinese waitress who patiently took time to recommend and explain. The food was amazing and not at all expensive. We had some mini spring rolls, which were delicious, and three different kinds of dim sum as a starter. My favourites were those with pork filling, the shrimp ones were good too and my husband liked his pork ones which were presented in a sort of spicy broth. Very different and intesting. As a main course I had baked chicken in lemon sauce. That was truly delicious! Quite sour so maybe not everyone's thing, but I personally found it really good. Not very light, but nevermind. My husband had spicy prawns and seemed very pleased with his choice. The menu is very big and we are looking forward to going back to try some other stuff too. The bill was only about €60,00 including water and beer. The ambiance is maybe not trendy nor fun, but still quite sober compared to most Chinese restaurant in Berlin at least. They also have a separate room with a big round table that can be booked for a bigger party and could be a good idea for a special occasion. Highly recommended!
