Upon arrival we were greeted by both of the owners, who made us feel very welcome. They talked through some of the tourist sites, bus routes, places to visit, then showed us our room. The furniture in the room is slightly dated but the beds turned out to be very comfortable.
The breakfast was generous, lovely coffee, hot chocolates for teenagers. Nice mix of cold meats and cheese, along with a good selection of preserves, variety of bread rolls.
What makes this hotel though is how friendly the owners are. They even got up at six o'clock in the morning to make a few of the residents breakfast (we were running the marathon so needed to eat super early).
The next morning after the marathon, the owners had bought me a copy of the local newspaper with a marathon special supplement.
The local area is nice and quiet, quite a few gay bars nearby, so had to walk a little further for a local bar that we as a family could go to, close to U-Bahn. All in a great stay.More
