Such as shame for an Indian not to be authentic. The place isn't anything special, the tables feel like a canteen and the food was average at best. We ordered a palak paneer and malai kofta and you couldn't tell them apart - the sauce was exactly the same. We won't be going back.

There are many indian food places in Berlin and many are just serving average, standard indian food. This one is clearly above average, good quality and good prices

It was a quit evening in Berlin - and so was traffic in this Restaurant. It is not very expensive (compared to other Indian Restaurants in Germany) and so I ordered Pappadoms and a Vindaloo with fish. Two Pappadoms are only 1 € - with three dipps.OK. But the dipps tasted like ketchup, like a White milky sos and the third one like tabassco with oil. Not like India.
Thi vindaloo was spicy - but not tasty. First I thought ""Wow, plenty of fish pieces" - but reality was plenty of potatoes and three or four small fish pieces. I had many vindaloos in many countries - this one was only average. Tast was closer to a hungarian Gulasch or an italian Bolognese! Tomatoes and pepper - no Indian herbs at all.
The Mango Lassi was ok.
The place has some nice and typical decoration and the Service is friendly.

I honestly have no idea how anyone could give this place more than three stars (and that's if they came on a really good day and had no previous experience of Indian food whatsoever). This is really bad food here! Everything is full of oil, nothing tastes fresh, even the vegeterian dishes! Not to mention the meat... I thought once I'll play it safe by getting some rice and potatoes with spinach, yet somehow they managed to make even those very simple things taste awful and I had to throw it all away halfway through for fear of getting sick.
