Description: We can offer rustic tables, warm lighting and the best wines as far as the eye can see. It's not just Nienstedt folk who meet up in the Kleines Jacob wine bar for a glass or two, with or without a piece of tarte flambé. Located opposite Louis C. Jacob, the atmosphere's cosy and inviting. It's the best time to come when the wine's ready to sup from the glass and our chefs are busying themselves in the open-plan kitchen. Drop in for a sundowner, after visiting the theatre, to meet up with all the family, or with your favourite people.

We dined at december 30th with a party of ten. A lovely table was set for us, we've had the chef's menu at just 37,50 wich was marvellous! Choices for salad, soup, fish, pork and great deserts. service of al the male servants was just right! Love to come back...

Because Jacob's Restaurant was fully booked we ate here on the Saturday evening.
Typical German food.
Ordered the fried beef with onions in gravy. The steak was a little tough as was my father in laws.
Husband chose knuckle of sucking pig which he thought was very good.
Friendly service and very cosy interior.

The restaurant is part of the famous Hotel Louis C. Jacob, set in a typical house in front of the hotel. I love the wood long tables, the cosy athmosphere and the facts that is all about german wine fine selection with organic wines and typical german food with a Hamburg style and a modern twist. I had a nice Perch filet wuth espula, green peace and corn and a great dessert with strawsberry declination refreshing. The wine was organic wine with a mineral taste that was great too. They really have a large selection odf the best wines from all Germany (Hamburg is not producing great wine so in Hamburg you find the best of all german and austrian wines). The staff was efficient and smilling.

We visited this restaurant during the first night of two at Louis Jacob. This time it was with a group of four adults and two children. We really enjoyed the three course menu of veal, lamb and dessert. Wine choice is excellent and correctly priced. Good atmosphere, child friendly and with attentive staff.
