Yet another nice, old church. I'm not sure how old it is as so much was rebuilt. It is at a good location for tourism.

Frankfurt is a city with so many beautiful churches and the great looking church of St Paul's ( Paulskirche ) is yet another stunning example of the type of churches you will come across in this vibrant city.
Originally built on this site to replace a church that had become delapicated, construction begun in 1789 but due to the Napoleonic Wars halted and the church was eventually completed between 1829 _ 1833.
I love the look of this church ,ovel in shape with a great tower it's a church that dominates the immediate area and makes for some wonderful photographic opportunities.
It's located in Paulsplatz and in an area teeming with pubs, bars and restaurants and some amazing architecture and a major tourist destination.
Well worth checking out.

Thank Neil K

Took the chance to peek inside the Pauls Church. The circular round painting is impressive and depicts the long and never ending march towards democracy.

St.Paul's Church was one of the most amazing places I've visited during my stay in Frankfurt. Very nice and historic place to visit when you visit Frankfurt.

Have walked by this building, but we found it open and decided to visit. Inside there is an interesting mural along with some historical photos on the ground floor. Upstairs is okay. It seemed modern and set up for meetings or other. Overall, an interesting visit, but we found ourselves ready to explore other sites after 20-30 min.
