Booked for a night on booking.com as a last minute generous offer. Big old style rooms with balconies, big bathroom, WiFi good but needs a different password for each device. The guy at the reception - very helpful once you have paid the city tax (if you are on leisure and not on business) - will give you as many paper strips as you need (LOL). He even gave me 2 paper strips - Kurkarten Wiesbaden with general discounts valid for plenty of hotel partners.
Rooms are old style (1940's-50's like) and very spacious but they need refurbishment of the furniture and change of the old carpet that seem to be from the same age.
Otherwise very good position, small park place in front of the hotel (only 5-6 places), the thermos with hot fresh coffee in the morning at the reception was a definite plus
Flat TV big screen, clean room and bedding, no fridge in the room tough which is a pity.
Good value for money (if you grab an offer for it) and good if you are in transit because it has a good position and easy to find with the GPS.
I wouldn't stay here for a longer period unless they refurbish the carpet and furniture.More
