The hotel’s design and room amenities are nice. Good Spa. I think this hotel is categorized as 5 star, but don’t expect your usual 5 star (luxury) detail and attention here. The price was also quiet low, and I think you do get fair value for money. Upon arrival, there’s no one who helps with car or luggage. reception will not greet you when you come back to the hotel. There’s no rooming or information on hotel services. (Which was most surprising cause isn’t there a lot of extra revenue in cross and up-selling?), No turndown service. Room service trays are in the corridors for hours in the afternoon, waiting for pick up. The cleaning ladies left the empty water bottle in the room instead of replacing it with a fresh one, garbage bag was not replaced, the SPA staff removed my towels and slippers from my chair when I went into the pool... the list of small details goes on. It’s all not a big deal when you know what to expect.
The only real issue was that you can’t shut the blinds fully. Our room had a big window front towards the atrium and it was light all the time.
I will try another hotel next time, but I think the Kameha can be a good choice for a stay. More
