We were a group of 4 staying in 2 rooms, booked thru Expedia because we stayed at a sister hotel in Maastricht (which was fabulous) so expected this location to be similar. The Apple Park in Maastricht called to make a reservation for us, but they said they couldn't because their Internet was down, they recommended we book thru Expedia or Bookings.com. This should have been a sign. At least I can say the bed linens were clean. Our shower had so much mold in it I had a hard time showering. The baths very tiny. No free breakfast, it's €12.90, and on site paring is €13 per day. Difficult to get parked as the parking area is tiny. The wifi mostly not working. However not far from the tram line into the city center. Most restaurants in the area don't accept American VISA. Cash only

We arrived at 21.00 pm. Have booked in advance via booking.com and breakfast was charged 12,9 euro each person. Parking was charged 13 Euro for one night:-( The hospitality from the reception was below standard. Cannot recommend this hotel.

This is an average/good business hotel located midway between the city center and Cologne University. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The room was cleaned every day. The hotel was a bit dated and there some strong smells from time to time. Overall it was fine for a few days business stay.
The worse point was that the internet connection was very unstable and very often unavailable. I found it was impossible to work using it at times.

Reasonably priced hotel. We were in a room for 3 and there was plenty of space for all 3 of us.

Plenty to pick from at breakfast.

There for a long weekend. Close to a station and walking distance for the bars and town.

Room Tip: Late check out for 15 euros was perfect!

We were here 3 nights just before the Christmas and our visit was all about the Christmas markets. We were decided to visit all 8 of them and the location of the hotel was ideal for that purpose. The street were the hotel is was quiet but the nearest 3 markets were all just around the corner. There were also a supermarket just few blocks away. The markets of the Cathedral and Old city were a bit further, 2 km or so, but we loved to walk around the city and explore it.
The hotel it self was cozy. The lobby was nice and service was good. Because hotel was in old maze-like building the rooms were at first hard to find. There was an elevator so you don´t have to walk the steep stairs if you don´t want to. Tho it was great exercise!
The room was nice standard room. We found it a bit chilly but luckily there was adjustable radiator. Definitely worth our money!
