Good evening Mr. Fakhimi. Thanks for your application. We have a question about your review of the restaurant part. What bad is your experience with the food? What qualifications did you miss from our waiter? We are pleased to get a detailed response. Sincerely, Gerd Thorsten Maiwald

Stayed at the Klosterhof for two nights. You can choose the bier garden or the old brewery restaurant pending of the weather to taste the excellent food. The staff is very friendly and fast. Rooms are clean and quiet. The WLAN is free with good connections in all areas.

We would stay here again if because it is in a charming village on the outskirts of Dresden. It was an old monastary hostel and has been nicely converted to a hotel. It is within walking distance to a bus that take one to the Dresden city center. Excellent food and quiet, comfortable rooms. The English speaking staff is very helpful.

Hotel Klosterhof is located in the village of Alt Leubnitz just to the south of Dresden. It is the perfect quiet getaway for those who want to explore Dresden and its surrounds. For those who are thinking of driving, this is a good choice since there seemed to be ample parking.

The staff are personable and attentive and do everything to make your stay enjoyable. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. And they have a wonderful restaurant!

If you don't have a car, you don't have to worry. The hotel is a 12-minute bus-ride from the Hauptbahnhof on the 66 bus which picks you up and drops you off right outside the station, at a cost of 2 euros. Once you get to Altleubnitz, you walk along Dohnaustrasse to Spitzwebstrasse, turn LEFT and continue walking until you get to the roundabout. Once there, you look for Alt Leubnitz, which is a LEFT turn just past the roundabout. The hotel is at 12 Alt Leubnitz, further up the street on the RIGHT hand side.

To get into town was a snap (once you figure out where the bus stop was). You needed to get the 75 bus from where Alt Leubnitz meets Spitzwegstrasse and take it all the way to its last stop of Pirnaisher Platz. From there, it is an easy walk into Old Dresden, into the Alt Markt and the Frauenkirche. To get back, you take the 75 bus from Pirnaisher Platz in the direction of Goppeln.

Room Tip: The hotel is located in the quiet and pretty village of Alt Leubnitz, so there was no issue with noi...

Stayed at the Klosterhof with my husband and two german friends for a short break in Dresden. Airport pick up was arranged to and from hotel - a really lovely experience and very reasonably priced. We had a mezannine room which was very spacious, clean and quiet, with a good bathroom / shower - and plenty of hot water.

We did not want to stay in Dresden itself, and the Klosterhof is ideally situated for buses and trains to Dresden and the surrounding area (we has a lovely day in Meissen). The hotel breakfast was copious, with an immense choice. They have a 'special' every night that ranged from a local beer or liquer to a 'special priced' staeak meal. Food was delicious and the menu varied. Service was always good - they even made us an afternoon pot tea. Whilst on Teas, there is a varied selection to chose form - even for the
English pallette. It was a cold time of the year but the hotel was warm and the log fire in the main resturant was very welcome .
Reception staff were always helpful and polite, as were the Bar and Restaurant staff.

I can only see one drawback with the Hotel, and that is that there is little on-site car-parking, so anyone arriving by car will need to use the limited road space outside the property. That said though, I would not hesitate to stay here again if visiting this part of Germany..

Room Tip: Easy to get to Dresden. Good transport links
