Had a family dinner for Easter served by José Louis who took excellent care of us.
Discovered the Mazamorra and a very good Jamon de Toro (Toro tuna not a bull......).
Excellent dinner for our last evening in Cordoba.

Thank Maurizio B

We are here for Semana Santa & learnt about Casa Pepe from a review so we took in a long lunch before the Maundy Thursday procession. As a vegetarian Spain has been a hard road but the options here especially the grilled lettuce hearts and Aubergine croquetas are excellent with Aubergine dressed in a sauce reduced from Pedro Ximénez Sherry being a real discovery. The restaurant is very popular with locals and it being a holiday we should have booked but the staff found a table for us and were most accommodating with excellent advice on dishes and wine.

We went to the tapas bar one night, after delicious fried eggplant with sugar cane reduction and other delicious tapas we asked for a table in the restaurant area, to find that it was all booked for the rest of the night, so we made a reservation for the next day, it was amazing!! Excellent food perfect ambiance so cozy! Great service and excellent advise from Adolfo who took really good care of us! Can't wait to go back!!
