We arrived a bit early, just before the queue started for lunch! We two shared 500 grams (1/2 kilo) of mixed deep fried seafood. Delicious and not greasy. Good service. This is definitely not a fancy place, but good food and cheap. Recommended. It is about 5 minutes walk from the main (fish) market.

We were looking to eat something local.

Some other tourists recommended the place.

We tried it. The quality was very bad.

The fried sea food was fried inside oil of very bad quality. The small fried squids were not cleaned from their inwards and the result was awful.

We were tasting the bad effects for many hours later...

We decided to check out this local seafood restaurant after reading some great reviews about it and were very glad we did!

We ordered the large mixed fried fish platter, fresh prawns and some potatoes in alioli - all arrived very quickly and tasted unbelievably good!

Definitely a restaurant to check out whilst in Cadiz.

We stopped for lunch, great variation of seafood and not just fried! We had crab leggs, lagoustines, squid etc, all excellent and at budget prices! We arrived at 12.45 and just in time to still have a table, by 1pm it was overcrowded with local people taking there lunch. Recommend coming for lunch before 1pm or after 2pm...

We had to try this place after Rick Steins visit here and the reviews on TripAdvisor.
The queue's were mental early afternoon when we stumbled across it so we chanced our luck heading early for it opening again at 7:30.
We arrived at 7pm. We managed to get a seat outside and the waiting staff were very helpful and attentive.
We ordered the mixed fried fish, shrimp fritters, aioli potato salad and octopus salad. Food was incredible and perfect washed down with a large cold glass of white wine.
Pricing was very reasonable also.
