Just about the best... Inviting grounds, very accommodating staff, and clean. Central location for Costa see luz. The restaurant has the best breakfast of any hotel we stayed at in spain. The fresh fruit was amazing and the omlets just plain fantastic. Daily changes to the dinner menus and closer rallying distance to many small bars and restaurants for tapas. Just plain good place to stay.

We enjoyed staying at Los Jandalos Vistahermosa because the grounds were beautiful. Our comfortable apartment was a 2-bedroom, 1.5 bath. Although somewhat dated, we enjoyed the privacy it provided. We also enjoyed the breakfasts in their beautiful restaurant. The pool looked great, but it was too cold for us to try it. This hotel/apartment is within a 1.5 mile ride to a fantastic beach at the end of Osborne Blvd. It was better & less crowded than the Costa del Sol beaches we visited. The Vista Hermosa Beach Club was a great place to enjoy drinks, watching the waves, & walking across the sand.

The unfortunate moment arrived when you make a big effort to plan a holiday and realise you picked the wrong place. We had a bad experience with the booking process at this hotel and the rooms just didn't come up to the standards they present in the pictures. We live in Malaga and wanted to take my parents on holiday to the Cadiz area. This hotel is far out from everything but we thought since they are in their 70's and not able to walk very well, we would be able to find a quiet place in the countryside for a relaxing Easter weekend, it was expensive but seemed like it was going to be a special occasion.

Unfortunately it did not turn out this way... We wanted to find an apartment for four people with two double rooms, so I could care for my parents on the trip, but the hotel page on booking.com clearly said there were no apartments with two double rooms over the Easter weekend and we were forced to take two apartments.

What a surprise when we arrived to the hotel. The hotel is on a narrow one way street where it was impossible to arrive in comfort and unload everything and help my parents out of the car. Instead we had to leave them on the side of the road while we found parking. For a four star place I was expecting a warm welcome but the receptionist hardly looked up from her computer enough to notice us. She put us in apartments with lots of stairs and a long way from the reception. It was difficult for my parents the entire stay. They didn't show us where the apartments were and there was no one to help with luggage. Not at all a warm welcome. Just thoughtless.

But it seems that this sums up well the nature of this hotel, its not intimate and small but a huge sprawling place with the feeling from most of the staff, that you are just another guest. When we arrived to our apartments we found that they were two double room apartments! Both apartments we booked had two double bedrooms and we had spent double the price for no reason. It seemed silly and expensive to take two apartments when one would be fine, but why didn't the hotel offer this??? It appears that these people are desperate to sell apartments even at Easter.

To make it worse, the receptionist said to us, she completely agreed with our complaints and understood why we were upset but had no control to do anything. The hotel then offered us a 10% discount if we took just one apartment but it did not seem worth this small discount. The hotel considered the two double room apartments an upgrade but we felt we had been treated badly, they had treated us unfairly and it ruined the stay for us. But also the apartments themselves were in poor condition.

Tired and worn with old furnishings, it appears nice in pictures but i'm not sure the pictures are recent. We opened the apartments to a stale smell, as if they had not been used for some time. They could have opened a window in preparation for our arrival. I hope you can see, this is not a four star residence. The gardens are in fact nicely done, so if you are desperate and stay at this place, call ahead, but don't be surprised if you end up in the same position we did. Also the free parking outside in the street was used by many guests, you don't need to pay the high underground parking charge of the hotel. I could make a lot of further suggestions to improve this place, but It's not my job its theirs.

We spent a week at this hotel, which is situated in a quiet residential area, a short distance from the town. There is a regular bus service to the train station and beach.
We were upgraded to a two-bedroom apartment, which was comfortable and very clean. It had a kitchen area, which needs updating. It was equipped with cooking utensils, crockery and cutlery, a small hob, microwave, washing machine and iron. There was no kettle. There is a decent DIA supermarket nearby.
The living area was furnished with a dining table and chairs a settee, armchair and television. There was an outside sitting area, which had a table and chairs.
The beds were very comfortable, the bed linen of good quality.
The bathroom was dated and slightly cramped, but the shower pressure was good. There was a second bathroom with a toilet and washbasin. The gardens are pretty and very well maintained.
The restaurant only opened for breakfast. The buffet breakfast for ten Euros is very good value. There was no bar service.
The reception staff were efficient and very helpful.
Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the complex, although signal strength is variable.

The hotel has beautiful grounds and is in a very convenient location for trips around the "Sherry Triangle" as well as Cadiz. We booked a single bedroomed apartment, but we're upgraded to a double, as were our friends. The apartments were clean, spacious and well equipped. The only thing missing was an electric kettle. The reception staff spoke excellent English and were extremely helpful. When our car wouldn't start, the maintenance staff appeared within 3 minutes, to jump start it, free of charge! We would definitely recommend it.
