Despite the reviews you see on here this hotel is fairly good. The food is decent although sometimes a bit cold. Microwaves are available in the dining room which does help but this is not the solution to the problem.
The meals can be a bit samey but always adequate and of decent quality.
The hotel is spotlessly clean and in a good state of repair.

The staff throughout the hotel are excellent particularly the bar staff Martha and Mame who were always helpful and professional. Always smiling.
The pool bar was also good but I forgot the ladies name, the guy at the pool bar was called Jesus, he was also very good.

The location of the hotel is ok but a bit far from the resort center. This is not a problem as the M123 bus stop is right outside the hotel.

At night time however the last bus back from town or Benelmadena is 22.00 so make sure you plan your night out as a taxi back to the hotel will cost €20 easy and it is 4.5 miles of a walk back.

On the whole not too bad a place, beach just across the road.
Loads of sunbeds at thr hotel at all times of the day.
Entertainment not great in the hotel at night but during the day there is a kids club and other activities like archery, rifle shooting and bowls for the adults.
Tennis court and five a side football/ basketball court available free.
Too far from the biz for me and my wife, would not stop me coming back though.

Booked this holiday as part of a Jet2 package deal, flying from Newcastle. They say first impressions have a lasting effect and this certainly was the case for our stay. The apartment we were allocated was in dire need of a re-vamp (very dated), I wouldn’t have wanted my dog to sleep on the beds, they were not fit for purpose and throughout our stay didn’t get a one good night sleep. The main hotel was very clean, but the restaurant food was very repetitive and not at all what I would expect for a 4* rating. The atmosphere could be likened to a retirement home with absolutely no entertainment to speak of. Granted it was out of season, but old time dancing !! We certainly won’t be making a return visit to this hotel if you are young (my partner and I are not btw) I would not recommend this hotel.

Room was fine, on the seventh floor, but the food was like a school canteen, there were lots of Spanish seniors there and you got the feeling that everything was mostly tinned or bought in, because there was a gale force wind throughout the whole week it forced us to stay in the hotel for most of the time and there was little to do, I hired a mobility scooter for four days as I can't stand for long periods but was told to leave it outside all night in the open so gave it back after two days, I didn't want to use it in the hotel, just safely store it in a corner, Staff on the desk were pleasant but we cut our holiday short by three days and paid 79 pounds extra to Jet2 just to get home, hotel never offered a refund for those days so won't be back, also, it's quite a walk to the small shops along the front

We went on a Jet2 package, half board in an apartment. Given the price we got reasonable value for money but the whole place is dated and our apartment was very shabby. The beds are just camp beds really and the bedding is ancient. To say it was an apartment what pushing it a bit. There is just a 2 ring electric hob with no markings left on the controls so it was guesswork to use it. There was no kettle or microwave so it's as well we had half board, which was all you could book. There is no way you could self-cater in it. There was virtually no equipment, a frying pan and one saucepan, a couple of plates and a bit of cutlery but no glasses.

The restaurant is huge and, when we were there, catering mainly for elderly people. It is self-service, eat all you can, buffet. It was always very busy with queues on all the stations and the guests had little regard for personal space. The staff were excellent and had to move at speed to keep service flowing. The salad bar and the fruit were excellent. The cooked options were budget but given the huge amount of people they were feeding I don't suppose they had a lot of choice. It was always a variation on a theme of griddled meat, overdone veg and spuds or rice. The days they did sardines fresh on the griddle were the best if you had that and salad.

There are a couple of nice pool areas. The pools are unheated so you needed better weather than we had to make the most of them.

It's in a good location with a bus stop right outside and Los Alamos station a 10 minute walk.

We had a great holiday but I would spend a bit more somewhere else in Torremolinos to get better accomodation next time
