Serendipity happens when you least expect it. Took a while to actually find but so pleased it was recommended to us for our last evening in Granada. Magic.
Open terrace (with patio heaters as necessary) overlooking the floodlit Alhambra across the valley. Disappointment at not being at the front of the patio was soon overcome as we sat beside a fountain and could enjoy both the view of the palace and also of this very attractive, smart restaurant with small groups and couples all enjoying themselves. Excellent food, a wine list to match (moderately priced) and smiling staff clearly enjoying providing attentive, professional service. Book a table as diners were still arriving at 10pm (not unusual in Spain) unless you come early or face the disappointment of being turned away even if at first sight there are empty tables.

OMG! This restaurant is a 10 in EVERYTHING! Located in the Mirador de San Nicolas area this is THE place not to miss. The view of the La Alhambra is stunning, the food is even better. Fine dining with a menu that embraces the Mediterranean cuisine in a gourmet and creative way. The wine pairing is excellent and the service is superb! Not only its a great experience but they arranged for taxis that were already waiting for us.

First, you cannot find a better place to overlook the Alhambra as darkness falls and the lights appear on the outer walls across the valley. Just simply breathtaking. Second, the staff and the menu were excellent.

We walked down from Mirador de San Nicolas to get to the restaurant, and it took us a few minutes to figure out how to get there, but when we did, the view inside the doors took our breath away. It really is a magical spot; with our reservation (we called in advance) we were seated at an outdoor table for four. We enjoyed the view of the Alhambra at night, the gorgeous evening temperatures, and the food. The Amuse Bouche, with Cream Cheese, Avocado and Nuts was delicious. I had the Andalusian Garlic Soup as an appetizer, and Duck with Mint Sauce, Spinach, Carrots, and Barley for the main course - all was delicious. The Ambiance gets a 5++, the Food a solid 4, and the service a 3 - it was just Ok. By times, we really thought we had been forgotten by the servers (although it is hard to complain with the view).

Appaling. Came here for the view which is stunning but ruined by a petulant maitre D' who the owners really must send on a customer care course. We had a reservation and on arrival and were shown to our table, we noticed one closer to the front and the view and asked if we could be moved but were told that that table had been reserved in advance. Accepting this we sat down to order, I noticed Foie on the menu and asked if this was actual of pate and was told it was the former, turned out to be the latter, still very tasty but not what I ordered. Also had the lamb cutlets, has better and larger portions in almost any restaurant in Spain, very disappointing. Meanwhile the table we had asked to be moved to remained unoccupied, on pointing this out the maitre became very upset and defensive and proceeded to row with my partner. A full blown row! Unforgiveable. Then to exact some kind of revenge, while every other table was given a drink on the house, we were overlooked. The worst service I have experienced anywhere.
