Took the good advice of the T.A community & visited this restaurant. I'm not sure if it was empty just because it is January or that this restaurant really suits outdoor dining, but it was really really quiet. There ended up being 4 tables of guests in the end. Two of the tables had to move nearer to the log fire, as it was so cold.
The staff were lovely & very helpful. The food was good quality but nothing amazing. The let down was the profiteroles. There were so many add-on's scattered around the plate - apple, custard, cinnamon/spice, yoghurt, that the actual profiteroles were a let down & there were only 3 of them. Plus don't put white choc. on them - its tasteless & you need the darker choc. to go with the cream. Just my opinion!! I would try again in warmer weather to get a completely different experience.
