I don't mind basic - but this place was awful. If you had a room at the front, it was very noisy - if you had a room at the back, it stank of smoke (being just above a small yard where the night porter sat & smoked all night). Our room was tiny, grubby and dark. We had 'ensuite' but it was one of those showers that you need to hold and I would usually sit down in the bath for ease - I am only a size 10 but it was so tight I couldn't manoeuvre myself to sit down. There wasn't even one of those tiny bars of soap provided, the towels were threadbare - really, really poor. I travelled as part of a group so don't know what the prices are - though even £20 a night would be too much. I have uploaded one photo of the bathroom - which is not that bad, if you were in India! Also, if you read my other reviews they are normally quite positive with maybe constructive criticism so you can tell that this place was the pits - don't go there.
