Description: The oldest Tavern in Spain gets its name from an old esparto grass weaver who delivered wine and hand crafted brooms that once hung from the ceiling. Nowadays, it is a restaurant and terrace next to the Cathedral, where you can savour exquisite tapas and traditional Andalusian dishes. We have breakfast from 09:00am to 12:00pm

This restaurant feels a little more authentic than most in the tourist district. Food was good and service was ok without being outstanding. Paella and meat skewers were both enjoyed.

If you are like me and like to experience life as a local than this is the place to come. They don't speak a word of English but they do their best to help you order food and drinks. We had Mushroom risotto, chicken and fish which all tasted amazing!!! It's a fun little place. If you are looking for fancy this isn't it. I loved it!

We stayed in a hotel literally two minute walk from this restaurant. It is in a touristy area, one can see the Seville Cathedral from its patio. For this reason, we were a little reluctant to try it at first. I am glad we did! We had a very nice breakfast there one early morning when there was hardly anyone on the street. The whole experience was so pleasant that we decided to ask our friends who stayed at another hotel to join us for dinner on our last day in Seville. I am very happy to report that we found all the dishes we ordered very enjoyable, this was after trying various restaurants in both Madrid and in Seville. Our friends liked the restaurant also the four of us had breakfast there the next morning.

The hotel we stayed at reserved a romantic evening dinner for us at this restaurant as part of our room package. We were pleasantly surprised when we received VIP treatment upon our arrival; including amazing service and a delicious five course meal. This all included a bottle wine of our choice during dinner and a bottle champagne during dessert (which we had no idea was coming). Food, drinks and service were all spectacular! We sat outside and enjoyed a wonderful three hour dining experience! I highly recommend this restaurant. You will not be disappointed.

Pleased to see 'individual' paella on the menu. Our other choice was fried rice with prawns and vegetables. Both dishes were very enjoyable. For sweet we had crème caramel and berry cheesecake. ( Note the cherub artwork and chandeliers hanging from a great ceiling ).
