Small bar in an even smaller side street near La Seo cathedral. The tapas are absolutely world class. The bar is usually packed, but since foreigners are hungry ahead of the locals you might have a chance. Even the wine selection (by glass) is rich and good.
The prices are fair, the quality and composition of the tapas is made like in heaven; not the run of the mill. Service is friendly.

Fantastic tapas in a central and cozy location. The personnel are true heroes because this place is always full, and for good reason! The best place for tapas.

This was one of the best tapas bars we visited. Very busy with locals & almost no where to stand, the food was excellent. The girl serving recommended a wine which was lovely. Wines started at 2 euro per glass. All the food labels were in Spanish, but with my limited Spanish & pointing we got by. We tried black squid ink balls (5.50 euro a serve for 5 balls) which was delicious. Don't get the ink on your clothes though! A minced meat ball with rice was very good too, along with a salmon one. A women at the back was constantly making fresh tapas which was a good sign. A regular looking meatball dish looked very popular too. I didnt see any seating at all in here, so be prepared to stand. Worth it though.

Had the Cocido and the Espinicas Dos Quesos. Both were excellent with beer. No seating, but the vibe is soooo good. Lots of locals around so it says a lot.

We rate this as one of the best places we visited. It is not a restaurant but a tapas bar with no seating, populated by many locals. The tapas was first class and the alcohol was very inexpensive. We had five glasses of wine between us and about 7 extremely tasty tapas and the bill came to ... 25 euros. Wish we could go back but on to another town.
