We stayed 2 nights in Oviedo at the Princesa Munia. Our room was quiet and had a very large, firm bed. Overall it was a pleasant stay in a great location to explore the city. We did not use the spa or have the breakfast, but I would recommend the hotel for the basics. Even during busy July, the hotel was quiet, not crowded.

Spent one night in the hotel, chosen mainly because of convenience.
The stay was so pleasant that we regreted not being able to stay longer.
It is located in central Oviedo, within the old city, where asturian flavour, tradition and aesthetics reach their best. Plenty of things to do and see. Next to loads of restaurants to have asturian cider and eat excellent food as Gascona o el Fontán areas(norther spanish, we are hard to beat in gastronomy), a step away from Oviedo cathedral (observed by "La Regenta" literary character from classic writer Leopoldo Alas Clarín) and young night clubs not far away.
The hotel itself is very nice. Room amazing. Modern, sophisticated, quirky. Glass shower. Lots of light intensities to play with and create ambience. Views were not the best... but great moscovitas as welcome gift.
It is an spa hotel, which I think is the most appealing atribute amongst locals. We had the chance of getting emergency make up done for a wedding, which was fantastic, even relaxation experience. Not time to try the spa, but looked lovely, small and quiet.
Staff great. Very kind and helpful. They literally saved our stressful day.
Lovely. We would love to be able to stay again and make the most of it. Thanks.

The rooms at Princess Munia are very compact (tiny!) - I think it is more a spa and less a hotel.
The staff were friendly but not that informative- they didn't mention that there was a running road race on the day we we re leaving and the roads were closed - we were lucky to be able to get out.
Breakfast was in the basement.
The bar is at the Hotel Frieda across the road.

Had a lovely three nights here. Recommend a room at the back if it's the weekend. It's on the edge of the university and old town, so rammed with happy people Friday and Saturday night until dawn. The in-house spa is small but access is timed for less than €20 per person per hour, which is just right. Beautifully clean and very relaxing. If you have a car, concierge parking available at €12/day. You'll need to park yourself if after 20:00 in a secure site just around the corner. Lots within easy reach including the spectacular cathedral (worth visiting for the Mediaeval art museum alone). Turn right out of the hotel and on the first corner is La Corte de Pelayo, which is perfect for breakfast, brunch, lunch or dinner. Put your smarts on if it's a Sunday morning; this is a classy but relaxed place loved by locals.

The hotel is in a great location for walking the beautiful city of Oviedo; near parks, shops, restaurants; location, location, location.

The room was delightfully decorated, the staff was friendly and polite. We couldn't figure out how to cool down the room without opening the windows, which we eventually did. The street sounds were comforting.

I found the abundance of glass in the shower a bit much, but as long as you don't fall, you're good.

I really liked everything about this property and would recommend it to anyone.

Room Tip: floor 2 or 3
