We saw the reviews on TripAdvisor and went to ad hoc Cascanueces (nut crackers) and had a fantastic meal.
The waiters went through the menu with us, explaining that all dishes were for sharing and we should choose three.
We selected the Red Tuna, which was seared on the outside and raw inside, soaked in soy sauce- delicious.
Followed by wok vegetables- lovely and crunchy.
Finally the steak - delicious.
My friend chose the Forest as a dessert- which was amazing.
Fantastic meal to end the trip on!

Our visit to Ad hoc was a real highlight and I can not recommend the restaurant and staff enough. To start with, the staff were friendly, spoke excellent English and gave great advice regarding the menu. We ordered the octopus, the shrimp tacos and then the thinly sliced beef however our waiter suggested a half size of the shrimp which was greatly appreciated as it left us room to enjoy dessert! The octopus and beef were to die for and I will be telling everyone about them for weeks to come! We followed it up with the "step" dessert which was innovative, original and delicious! Overall it was a really lovely evening and outstanding value for money. I would highly recommend and would love to return if I was ever back in the city.

We enjoyed our dnner here. At first glance the prices on the menu can seem expensive however they offer half portions and charge accordingly. For us the half portion of Maki (Japanese tuna dish) was more than enough for a starter. We followed this with some delicious very rare beef done Brazillian style (one portion being enough for two to share) then pudding which was fruits of the forest but not as you migh expect. It is one of the restaurants signature dishes (once again one was more than enough for two and one of us is a greedy chappie). The cooking is creative and clever. It may not be quite as creative these days as the restaurant might think but none the less well worth going to. We had a good bottle of white wine and the lot was around 80 euros. Service was efficient and in the main courteous. Its a top rated restaurant and I can understand why but one visit is sufficient

Recently I have been there having a really good meal. The staff was so kind and they explained us everything. The wine's recommendation was an amazing discover. The meat "picanha" excellent; the tuna, really good but nothing like the dessert called "El bosque". You MUST try.
Not a cheap place.

Oscar and Diego are very hospitable hosts at their fantastic restaurant.
With the ever changing menu, each trip feels different, as if they have created that special experience for you.
During my visit yesterday I also let them know our time was limited by a flight we had to catch, so they made recommendations, served us and settled the bill in a timely manner to make sure we weren't rushed.
The Bosque dessert is a must!
