Hotel is clean and has decent sized rooms. The city center is about a 15 minute or so walk from the hotel. The biggest issue we have is that the walls are paper thin. Have been woken up at 6am everyday with people walking around adjacent rooms or with rooms being cleaned.

unique ideas but it is minimalist..one bar of soap and one towel per person, not luxurious, in residential location. breakfast is ok,not a great variety in options, but well presented dont be late to breakfast, quanties run out,but no coffee in lobby or before the restaurant opens.

Our room was spacious and overlooked an avenue of trees. The hotel took over a cinema and every room has photos of a Movie Star - our room was Kirk Douglas. You can borrow classic movies to play on the DVD player. The reception staff were very helpful and parking is available.

Breakfast is good in the restaurant with a wide range of options including freshly squeezed orange juice from a continuous feed machine where you see the oranges being fed through. The bar/cafe has a limited but cheaper breakfast. This bar also has great Pintxos.

The beach and "old town" are an easy 20 minute walk and there is also a bus almost outside the hotel. Centro with many other attractions is only 10 minutes walk and has a wide range of shops, restaurants and bars.

More than perfect, Short but marvelous tirp to San Sebastian, central, extreem value for what yu pay, reasonably prices car park. Bear mind to make reservation. Public transport is convenient and cheap. Bar is nice, breakfast is just what yu would expect where ever you are from.

The Astoria is dedicated to the movies. Each room is named after an actor.
Its full of interesting facts and memorabilia.
The rooms are large and comfortable. Very well appointed bathrooms.
The restaurant and bar are excelled. The tapas memorable.
It's about a 20 minute walk from the beach, but in a much quieter part of town.
Staff very professional and helpful.

Room Tip: Make sure you eat at the restaurant.
