This place was a wonderful place to stay for 4 nights in San Sebastian. Fantastic location in the old town and minutes away from the beach and an amazing selection of bars and restaurants. OK so it's just a room and a bathroom but these guys have got their act together. A simple breakfast for €1 at their nearby restaurant is great value. They can also arrange significantly discounted parking if arriving by car. On top of this San Sebastian is simply an awesome city to visit.

Bearing in mind I thought I'd booked the Hotel rather than the Pension, I was prepared to be disappointed but it turned out better than expected. Good points: it is situated exactly where we wanted to be near the bars, shopping and beach; the room was clean with good a/c and free wi-fi; the staff were very helpful and accommodating - we let them know when we were arriving and someone was there to let us in. Not such good points: the room was small and basic with no real natural light expect for a small window overlooking washing; the shower had no hot water the first morning although when we mentioned it to reception it was dealt with (albeit lukewarm); we were right next to reception so it was a bit noisy. But overall it was absolutely fine and I would definitely stay there again.

We stayed at this lovely pension in the heart of Donostia old town in mid June and loved every minute of our visit to the Basque country. The hotel is in the pedestrian area but only a minute walk from the bus stop and, even though all the buzzing pintxos bars are on the doorstep, we had no problem with outside noise in our room. The room was spotlessly clean and air conditioned. We were given the option for breakfast at 1 euro each at their family bar about 2 minutes walk away which was excellent and consisted of coffee, fresh orange, a croissant and toast with marmalade (the pintxos here in the evening were also some of the best we tasted). The hotel reception is manned during the day and special mention must go to Mira and Laura who were happy and helpful every time we spoke to them, nothing was too much trouble. We don't usually go back to the same places for city breaks as there are so many we haven't got to yet but we'll definitely go back to San Sebastian in the future and would have no hesitation in booking this little gem again.

Good location and a very friendly and helpful staff. Frankly I'm surprised that this is only a two star hotel. So I'm going to go ahead and give it one more for a total of ⭐️⭐️⭐️'s. Our room was spotless and modern. Adding better directional bedside reading lights would be a nice improvement. This hotel is a great value in this city and I highly recommend staying here.
*By the way, there's a very good laundry (self serve or drop off ) close by, run by a really nice lady.

Our family of three stayed at the hotel for two nights (March 19/20). I booked this hotel based on the Trip Advisor reviews and we were not disappointed. As we left my husband said "we better write a review for them, this was a great place to stay". We travel a lot and he has never said this before! The staff here was fantastic- friendly, helpful and accommodating. Our room was modern and clean, the shower had exceptional water pressure and the hotel was centrally located with old town a short walk away. The 1 Euro breakfast was a perfect an d very convenient way to start the day. We loved San Sebastian and would absolutely stay at this hotel again!
