We had found Bistro Esencia on our last holiday in Palma - a hidden gem. The food was so good we returned. Pumpkin gnocchi with talegio cheese - delicious! - even the red onion accompaniment had been marinaded for additional flavour. The Black Angus on potatoes dauphin - super. The leeks had been hollowed out, squared up and filled with romesco sauce. Such inventiveness. Desserts didn't disappoint either. The wine list was fine with some interesting choices. The service was friendly and helpful. All the more incredible by the fact that the restaurant is run by the two owners on themselves with no additional support! By far and away the best restaurant of our Palma visit and can't wait to return.
