On the whole this was a wonderful hotel and I loved the way the public areas had been decorated, modernised but still included pieces of furniture I assume to be from when the hotel was originally built. The rooms, were a little dated but I loved the wrought iron balcony which gave us a stunning view of the sea, marina, cruise ships and cathedral. The staff were mostly fabulous. I found the reception staff my least favourite. A little surly and not particularly helpful. No one offered a map of Palma or advice on getting round. The waitressing staff, pool staff and housekeeping 10/10! It was spotless. Its position didn’t bother us, it was easy to get around and the breakfast view was worth it.
BUT be warned, the road works did not bother us noise wise and they are temporary, what isn’t is the Lio night club next door. Every night we were woken two or three times, with revellers leaving the club, shouting and singing as loud as they could. This club is open til 5 in the morning so there is no escape. Would not return to this hotel because of that.
