Really pleased with the room we had it was a great view and very clean.
The pool had the best view overlooking the harbour and the cathedral.
We booked breakfast included in the price and it was well worth it , consists of a buffet offer of fruit, yogurt , meats, cheeses, traditional English, omelettes made to order as well as pancakes , a selection of breads jams and pastry’s , hot beverages? Fruit juices even Prosecco is on offer . I would like to give a good mention for Antonio and Vanessa who were really helpful at breakfast time as well as during the day by the pool, also a shoutout to reception for printing off the mandatory location form snd covid negative test, you went the extra mile and it was noted. My daughter Danielle would also like to say a big thank you. We will return.

First things first:
If you are thinking about booking The Mirador, go ahead. It is a safe booking: the price seems reasonable compared to other hotels in Palma (they are expensive). And the holte covers the basics well:
- good location, right at the waterfront (but it is a marina. the beach is a 3km run away)
- clean, comfortable bedroom (not huge, but mine was the smallest one and still ok for a couple on a weekend)
- excellent bathroom. large, well ventilated, good shower
- pool is small but inviting, with killer views

As in any other hotel, the breakfast buffet is an overpriced exageration. If that is your thing, 15 euros is probably not much. I am a croissant+coffee+orange juice kind of person, and I get that for 5 euros just outside the hotel (go up the big stairs, and turn right).

There were a couple of things could be better:
- the AC: I was on the top floor, and with a full day of sunshine, the AC barely handles. It is not unberable, but you must leave the AC on 24 hours, at the minimum temp., and with the bathroom door closed, to get some relief.
- Wi-Fi: Again, quite common in hotels. If you are on the top floor, and they don't have any kind of signal extension, or simply different routers per floor, you struggle to get a good connection.
- One solution is to go down to the fifth floor, where breakfast is served and work from there. The AC and the Wi-Fi are better, and the lounge is quite pleasant.

We only booked this hotel because of it's pool. The views and set up of the rooftop pool is fantastic. The area is clean and modern but it's definitely missing a toilet. You have to go back to your room or down to the ground floor to use the toilet. We stayed on the 8th floor - same as the pool floor and the - and the room floor is very dated and tired looking. Same applied to our room, all the furniture was old and dated. There was a cobweb hanging just above our bed and the coffee table must have not been cleaned at all because it still had a stain from someone's drink bottle. The safe looked like something from 1950's and was unusable and some of the furniture had chipped away. The terrace/balcony was a nice fixture and had a new decking. Reception and breakfast area was again very dated. Reception staff did not wear uniforms and name badges. Only 1 person at reception which meant we had to wait. Reception staff were often on private calls. No air/con just hot air coming out which was unbearable. No sleep at night due to the noise from outside the room and outside the window. Not staying here again, that's for sure!!!
