Almuadina Hotel is a great city hotel with a great location, friendly staff, lovely rooftop terrace and nice rooms. Also the breakfast is quite good and offers a wide range. I can definitely recommend the hotel!

Review of Almudaina Hotel

Almudaina is a city hotel right next to a big department store in the heart of P.d.M.
It looks a bit lost surrounded by countless shops and cafes under the arcs of a major shopping street.
Reception area is very small and has nothing more than a reception desk and two elevator doors.
Beside that, the boutique style hotel offers everything for a relaxed city stay. Nice and bright comfortable rooms, good beds, a wet zone with a tight shower cabin and good wifi connection.
It is worth to pay a bit more for the rooms with view to the south towards the sea and the cathedral. They start approximately from 6th floor on.
The top floor balcony restaurant, they use it for breakfast, offers a “one million dollar view” over the roofs of the old town to the yacht harbour and the open sea.
Will certainly chose it again..

Apologies for this really late review, but better late than ever. Having enjoyed our 4 night short break last here in Palma in June 2019, , we decided that we wanted to return again.
Once again my husband and I could not fault the hotel at all. We were given a room at the back of the hotel on the 2nd floor again. We could not fault the room. Once you opened the door to the room you did not realise that you were in the middle of a main city.
The Sky Bar is a must and the spread of food at Breakfast was really good, setting you up for a day of sightseeing.
Whilst we were there we time we celebrated New Year and booked in the Sky Bar for their New Year’s Eve meal. The meal was absolutely stunning and highly recommended. We enjoyed it so much that we have booked to hopefully go back this December to celebrate New Year’s Eve again. We will hopefully be able to book in again for their New Year’s Eve meal.
Looking forward to returning.

Myself and partner stayed at this hotel for four nights on a trip to Palma. This has to be one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. Lovely decor spotlessly clean and amazingly helpful staff. The breakfasts were fantastic with plenty of choice and a very high standard of food available. Make sure you visit the skybar the views of the city are amazing and the food is lovely. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel. We are going back to Palma in October and will definitely be staying at the Almudaina Hotel

Positives first - spotlessly clean property, high quality bedding, comfortable beds, well equipped rooms. Single rooms small (we knew that on booking) but adequate. Buffet style breakfast outstanding - everything incredibly fresh, high quality and utterly delicious! Location perfect for exploring beautiful Palma. Views from Sky bar amazing. Lunch excellent and very good value for money.
Less positive - Renovation works caused no disruption but unpleasant odour of sewage in one of the two lifts and also on opening window.
Cleaning staff “removed” two engraved glasses from my room (a gift). Eventually located and returned. Informed this was “a mistake”(!!!) Still waiting on an actual apology though.

The location of the hotel can not be faulted being situated in an up-market shopping street just a pleasant walk from the old town, marina and numerous restaurants and bars. A taxi rank and bus stop are just a few metres away. We requested a room at the back of the hotel; it was quiet, with modern furniture and fittings and very comfortable. It had a huge balcony with table and chairs but the only outlook was of the blank gable end of the adjoining building just a couple of metres away and the sun never shone on it. The usual comprehensive self-service breakfast with an excellent range of hot and cold items was served in a light and airy room. There is a bar and small restaurant on the 8th. floor and a viewing terrace above that with superb views towards the cathedral. All staff that we met went out of their way to be friendly and helpful. We will definitely go back again to this hotel but will request a room at the back of the hotel on one of the upper floors to get a view.
