We visited this market on a Monday and not all of the stalls were open but I think this is a little gem.
It gives you the same as the bigger market in an area used by the locals and so you can get access to the treats on offer.

Cracking market where the locals buy their food from a differing array of stalls. Add in some decent restaurants and Tapas bars at none tourist prices, makes for a great way to while away an hour or two with a great value lunch into the bargain.
Highly recommended

I guess it wasn’t the worst market I’ve ever been too but to say it’s nothing special would be generous. A few eateries with so-so food. No shopping of even mild consequence and the look and feel of the place was tired and bored. Skip it.

A wonderful place to watch the locals of the Santa Catalina area do their shopping from a wide wide range of stalls packed marvellously tightly in a smaller market , pretty much all the fresh produce you could want can be had here and there are plenty of bars and tapas stalls when you’ve done enough shopping . Well worth a visit .

Great Market. This is a great market in Palma de Mallorca. The produce is fantastic, vegetables, fish, meat, delicatessen specialties, everything you could possible imagine. All fresh and all excellent quality. Go there to buy something nice to eat, go for lunch or just go to have a look around (you wont be able to stop yourself from getting something!).
