and one cleaner in particular made our stay truly enjoyable so much so that we have already booked to return next year! The sauna /jacuzzi has to be booked but you get an hour of the facilities all to yourself! Such luxury! Room always clean and toiletries topped up. Strange to say but we did not get any tea or coffee bags in the last three days. We were there for 12 nights,
I wasn't expecting such a great treatment at the Continental hotel. It's got everything you need for a short or long stay in Palma: Location, good food and amazing staff. The hotel is very well maintained and they will always receive you with a smile.
Would recommend it to anyone.
A four star hotel only ten minutes walk from the historical center. Close to Santa Catalina quarter, which is full of life, restaurants and pubs. Friendly and helpful staff, even if English is not their strongest side. 24hours reception. Spacious and clean room and a huge luxury bathroom. They have a gym, but it is small. Don’t be adraid of the empty bar or restaurant, the staff are still there. Good for business or leisure alike.
Hotel has a lot of character and located close to many places to eat.
Breakfast was average. However, the veg hot options were placed in the same heated serving trays as the non veg options so I could not eat any of them.
The room itself was quite small but bathroom was almost as big as the room. Quite strangely the wardrobes where in the bathroom.
The desk in the room was very dusty and resulted in my cloths all getting dust on them as I didn’t realise.
The room window did not close fully to it was very nosey as the hotel in on the main road with trucks and buses passes all night. The garbage truck came at midnight every night and woke me up.
You also have to leave you, old style, metal key, at reception every time you leave the hotel.
Personally I won’t be staying at this hotel again.
The website pictures of the hotel does not do it justice, the hotel is very well positioned for local bars and the city centre. The rooms are very well furnished with mini bar and tea/coffee facilities. Spotlessly clean. The reception staff are amazing, so helpful and courteous. Thank you for a lovely stay.
