Food was outstanding! The whole dining experience was brilliant, from the chef's skills, to the brilliant service to the outstanding food.

I had the scallop parcels, which were delicious. Followed by the teriyaki chicken and fried rice, whilst my husband had sushi and tempura prawns, followed by steak and noodles. Absolutely mouth watering! Portion sizes were huge! I would say it is a must to eat here whilst staying at the Yaiza.

I would say it was expensive but it was definitely worth it, as the quality of the food and service and the dining experience, as a whole, reflects this.

Thank Nicole S

Had our first night's meal in our hotel as the Menu looked lovely and we have had Tepanyaki in Tenerife and it was a lot of fun and the food was amazing. If this was your first experience of this, you would probably enjoy it, but we found it very disappointing. The guy who cooked our food looked miserable throughout the whole meal and gave the impression that he did not want to be there instead of having a bit of showmanship with the cooking, (which we have enjoyed in the past). He threw one bit of egg at one of the guests but he did not warn him before hand so it just landed on his shirt!! He said "Fire, fire" then set the food on fire for a couple of seconds but this was all he said all night, then cooked 7 people's food very slowly and served us all at the same time, so it took a long time to get your food and was very boring to watch. My lamb when I eventually got it was superb, but the restaurant was also freezing so I got my food, ate it and left. Also very expensive for what you actually get so did not enjoy at all Sorry!

It must be circa twenty years since I experienced a Tapanaki restaurant in the basement of the Hilton Hotel in Amsterdam.....having this opportunity again here on Lanzarote and being able to 'introduce' our daughters to 'the experience' was wonderful. The memories flowed back as the individual chef prepared the duck, chicken, beef, king prawns, egg fried rice, noodles etc in front of us on the hot plate....a very entertaining display. The food tasted wonderful and the family really enjoyed the entire experience. Strongly recommend as a family night out. Pretty unique experience.

Not only is this the best Japanese restaurant as there may not be many but we believe this is the best restaurant if you like oriental food in the whole of Playa Blanca. You will see that I have written many reviews and we particularly like good food and fine dining. This wasn't even on trip advisor. I guess only guests in the Princess Yaiza discover this restaurant but if you like wonderful food and a wonderful experience please book. The authentic Japanese waiters are a delight and realy entertain you as they cook their wonderful fresh food to perfection in front of you . Wonderful salmon, tuna, lobster. I am a fish person normally but the beef was so delicious on the two occasions we visited I had to have it again Even the flavours in the rice are to die for! Wow.
