Tapas are fresh and really good with low prices. I had jamon, queso asado and chopitos and two beers, bill was about 20e. Service is nice and quick. Will go back!

After reading the glowing reviews we headed to Rosa Negra to eat our final meal of the holiday. It was a rainy day and none of the outdoor area was well covered and possible to sit at so we went in. It's just a bit of a failure by Trip Advisor to make no mention of capacity. Inside is the size of a front room with ten to fifteen seats. All were filled beyond a single table and a single chair, and while the owner said five minutes, looking around us nobody had got food yet. It's not anybodys fault, or any lack of quality or service, but please be advised that this place is really small, so its a good idea to have a plan B because there is a high likelihood you won't be able to find a table. More a great big flaw in Trip Advisor listings. Capacity is a big deal, yet no mention of it.

The good reviews did tempt us, and during our stay in Puerto de la Cruz we had two lunches in the Rosa Negra. The restaurant did no disappoint.

On our first visit we had the usual tapas courses to share, and on the other occasion more regular portions. The tapas were very good, served hot and generous portions good for sharing.

The salad my wife had during the second meal was beautifully arranged, my chicken could have been more strongly grilled, to give it a bit more "fire" taste. Good french fries helped.

The service was prompt and friendly, the food quality/price ratio excellent. What more can you ask!

The wood was really good. As others have written 2 plates of tapas per person is more than enough. Went by this place a couple of times, as it doesn't seem like something out of the ordinary street restaurants. Will recommend to stop by

To tell the truth I was a bit disappointed by the tapas in this place. Nothing wrong with them, quite good and testy, but nothing exceptional. One can find the same dishes nearly everywhere. Probably, after reading all the nice reviews, my expectations were very high, so I felt let down a bit.
