If you come to Loro Park, there is a restaurant on Calle Dacil, just 5 minutes walk, a hidden gem who is worth every single cent.
The owner is very friendly, knows his business, intuitively knows what type of tourist you are and tailor make your food.
I find Tenerife a very commercial island but this place is something else.If there will be more restaurants like this one on the island....it really comfort food.
Price is good, food is so tasty , you can still feel it in your mouth for hours... so tasty and fresh.
The owner does not speak english, make an effort with Google Translate, but such a hospitable person, very direct, likes his job.
Don't miss this place, you will have a lovely experience.

My fiance & i went here last night after reading great reviews on trip advisor. It's down a little side street near Loro Parque. Mmmh..when we arrived only one other couple there. We looked at the menu then asked the owner what the fish of the day was but didn't get an answer then we asked what the speciality of the house was & again he didn't tell us but said it was 28 euro. We decided to go for paella & he seemed annoyed we weren't going for the speciality of the house but we didn't know what was in it. Felt quite uncomfortable! When the paella came it was very good, probably the best paella. Also had some nice house wine for 4 euro. Then the owner offered us ice cream we said no however again felt like it was forced on us! Actually were quite relieved to get out!

My wife and I both had the fish of the day. We each got a full grilled fish together with some wonderful sauces and baby potatoes. Fantastic food and not expensive at 13 euro each.

We just walked by and smelled the amazing food. The restaurant filled with locals, beautifull music and great service. The owner waits the tables himself, you can feel Its a family business. The fresh local fish and de gamba's special were to die for! Make sure you check this hiddne gem out When in Puerto De La Cruz.

Ten of us shared two tasty paellas. It is good every time I eat it here, more than enough seafood and fish. Quirky decor. Friendly service.
