An out of town hotel with good facilities (rooms, restaurant, bar and parking).

Well decorated but, I apologise if this offends, a little over the top with the religious theming.

Evening meal was a 'menu of the day' but would recommend ordering A la Carte as the choice was more inspiring.

Breakfast......if there was a cafe nearby, I am sure that I would have used that instead.

Overall, room good and the rest... ok to good.

Room Tip: Choose a room that does not overlook the main road.

For those who love a classic and antique look. This is the hotel to stay at. The staff were very kind and generous and the meals showed variety. Not really recommended for a long stay but is good for short stopovers during a long journey.

From the outside this hotel does not look like must, however once inside the decor and the way it is laid out is brilliant it's all marble floors and high ceilings packed with great architectural features. The rooms are pretty good, however we were on the ground floor which was very noise. Wifi was fast and free throughout the hotel. I did not like the food, we had a 3 course meal (as there were 56 pax in our group), we had fish for starters and for main course. They had various statues on display which was lovely, the only downside was the food, it wasn't nice. The dining room was very cold and I could wait to get out of it. The breakfast the next morning was in the bar area and it was a real art to juggle the food around the various tables to actually get to a seat. I spend most of my time moving my chair to accommodate others. Burgos is only 10 km away so it was close for a visit. It was arranged to have 3 course lunch in the hotel and again it was not nice, which is a pity as it is a lovely looking hotel, with a bouncy castle for children and a park
so that the parents could watch them, but still enjoy a drink.

Room Tip: Not on the group floor as it is very noise and the tv's were very loud from the rooms next door.

I am travelling from Santander by Motorbike to Southern Pyrenees and knew Burgos would be a good way point. I found this gem on trip advisor - although the photo of the front just doesn't do it justice. Inside it's all marble floors and high ceilings packed with great architectural features.
The rooms are great too with superb bathrooms.
The free wifi is fast and works throughout the hotel.
We had a fine 3 course dinner with wine abd coffee for €12.50! Our double room was €56 including breakfast. Making this a great value /quality stop over.
The only diwnsides are that you are circa 10km East of Burgos, so we weren't able to squeeze in a look at this town as we are moving on with our tour this morning.
A special note for bikers, we paid a small supplement to park the bikes in a big locked garage - which meant we had peace of mind over the luggage * although this hotel is in a discreet location.

Myself and a mate stayed at this hotel on the evening of 12th march 2015.We were touring Spain on our motorbikes and had booked it the day before. The hotel is very clean, the rooms were lovely, and the wi fi for the internet on our phones was superb, the fastest i have ever know it to be.We went down to the bar for a meal at about 20.00 hours and had a 3 course meal for less than £10.which was lovely. We had a good nights sleep,no noise at all. Then had a lovely breakfast before leaving. It cost us £26 each for the room,2 evening meals, and 2 breakfasts.I will definetely return to the Hotel camino de santiago.Absolutely perfect.

Room Tip: Try the food as ,it was gorgeous.
