Spend the day just wandering these fabulous narrow streets. Duck into a tiny restaurant for tapas. Some lovely upscale shops. We were transported to the Middle Ages wandering all day through these narrow passageways.

Loved exploring this area on holiday. Lots to see and do including restaurants, shops and bars. Enjoy a walk up Is ramblas too which rubs alongside.

The Gotic Quarter is a definite place to visit. Great architectural buildings, fabulous shopping and no end of restaurants, bars and shops. Heaven!

I was the 1 of 5 of us that didn't queue to go into the church. Instead I sat outside of it and sun soaked to music being played by a busker beneath the steps. For an hour I watched people walk by or stop to listen or dance to the beats. 2 rickshaws were available for hire, a pretty girl dressed in flowers was selling them and an old man was entertaining adults and kids with his huge soapy bubbles. A random girl stopped to pirouette for her friend. And a couple of breakdancers busted a few moves. Very entertaining and a great spot to regroup, I the Gothic 1/4.

It's lovely walking around this area filled with great historical architecture buildings. There are lots of eating places and shops to rest in between sightseeings.
