The staff is very welcoming and they speak several languages. The hotel is at 20 minutes by can from the airport and there is an underground stop at 2 minutes walking distance.
We had the family room for the 2 of us, it was very big and clean. Silent and quiet during the night. Overall very good, i would go back.

Our room was easy to find, clean and a good size with a decent sized bathroom.

The room was a standard double, the bed was huge and extremely comfortable.

Found the hotel to be really well situated. It's a couple of miles away from the typical touristy spots but it's about 150 metres from Mundet metro station on the L3 line (which gave us really easy access to stations in the gothic quarter, the harbour, las ramblas, catalunya square, the magic fountains and a really easy journey to and from the airport).

A great little restaurant is just close by and it seems to be a busy place with a University round the corner.

Decent WiFi access although limited to 10G. We spent so much time out and about that our room was just a base to sleep and wash.

Make sue you get a T10 railcard if you are planning to explore. It allows you to make 10 journeys for up to 10 people and costs €10 which is a bloody bargain.

I stayed here during a very busy period in Barcelona, its right next to the metro which is handy, although its a little way out of town and there isn't much in the general area.

The staff are very friendly, and it has a restaurant / bar.

My only reason for not giving 5 stars is road noise which was pretty high all night mainly because the windows aren't effective and my room was on the side by the road and the shower seemed to pour water all over the floor whatever I did.

Standard room has no double beds. Upgraded room has double bed and balcony, but in every other way is the same (nothing extra). We expected to receive a room with double bed, were forced to pay extra for upgrade.
No kettle or coffee making facilities in any of the rooms.

Location in a quiet neighbourhood next to Mundet metro station and bus station looking out to the mountains. Metro takes you straight to Catalunya station, Las Ramblas, Espanya etc, but also possible to choose the bus 27 to Espanya (extra 20 minutes). Taxi stop in front of hotel, taxis went and came often so should be possible to catch one.
Huge white house complex next to the hotel has large supermarket (a bit hidden in the middle courtyard under the apartments), 2 cafes, bagel place, pharmacy, hairdresser etc.

Overall the hotel claims to be 4 stars, but cannot really compete with any other quality business hotel that I have been to.
The rooms are outdated (very dark and worn) and dirty. The downstairs staff are uninterested in professional communication: they only want your money ("take it or leave it", "I cannot do anything, that's how the hotel is"). Not a very pleasant place to be in either sense.
Ironic that across the road is a university of tourism and hospitality.

To end on a positive note, the cleaning crew were really friendly, though.

If they told they were a hostel, I would give 4 stars (but this is def.not 4 star hotel, I would say it's a hostel).

Room Tip: Standard room has no actual double beds; mountain view is pretty.
