We stayed at this hotel during our week long stay in Barcelona and thought it was lovely. It is a former apartment complex that has been renovated but they have managed to keep the old character alive.
Having arrived at around 10.30pm we were taken up to our room and told of all the facilities which was nice and were pleasantly surprised to see that we got an upgraded room which was spacious and the bed was comfortable.
Even though this hotel is in the suburbs, it is easy to get around town with the nearest station just a few minutes walk (Les Tres Torres or Sarria) so you can get to the heart of town in around 10 minutes from the station.
Now I want to stress that I was really pleased with the room and the standard of this hotel but like every place there are some criticisms and these are only minor things. Firstly, we ordered room service one night and the lady in the kitchen struggled with understanding English which was a bit frustrating but we got there in the end and secondly, the buffet breakfast whilst adequate, it would have been nice if there was a bit more variety but the service we received was top notch.
I would stay there again and recommend this hotel to anyone who enjoys boutique hotels.More
