One of the centers of Barcelona and a transit hub. The big department store is here and lots of hotels are nearby. Not especially pretty but vital and alive and you will surely pass through this area.

Need a light and varied bite to eat then this is an ideal venue.

You have the choice of sitting inside or out on the street under a canopy. Whichever you choose it doesn’t really matter as the food is served hot and fast if you choose from the hot side or lovely and fresh of you choose from the cold side.

The menu is set out numerically so makes it easy to order and they have an English menu so you know exactly what you are ordering.

Great location and not rushed at all and we really enjoyed the ambience of this place.

At the top end of Las ramblas and shopping central. They have the best sephora store ever there too! Take the slide down into the store!

Our sightseeing tour of Barcelona started right from its heart, its centerpiece, the core of its heritage (and of late its independence rallies). What an amazing public square (rather circular) pulsating with activity of people, cars, buses, children and heritage bursting at all corners. Linking the old town with the new extension in the 19th century you will find modern as well as heritage buildings around the roundabout. It is the starting point for the Hop On Hop Off Red and Blue bus routes which enable any traveler to explore Barcelona to its fullest. At the center is this breathtaking water fountain which looks so modern and yet so heritage. Water streams gushing in arcs as well as up shooting jets. It looks as beautiful by day as by night when it is lit in eye catching colors. Around this circle is the famous Ramblas - amazing pedestrian street for shopping, restaurants, cafes, bars, souvenir shops, snack shops. Around this city's nerve center you will everything from McDonalds, Apple Store, heritage buildings, museum of erotica and even gift shops located under the plaza. You could easily lose track of time strolling around the plaza and its many popular heritage streets and walking areas. Truly a landmark attraction of Barcelona which no traveler should or can miss !

La Rambla is a very large street between Plaza Catalunya and Columbus Monument. Both sides are separated from the vehicles and the middle is separated from the mainland.
This pedestrian zone is the most popular street of Barcelona, with every cut, hundreds of all kinds of food for every taste.

On either side of La Rambla is the world famous stores of very luxurious shops.

For the first time in Barcelona, all of the travelers are definitely seeing and shopping in the shops and eating something here.
The famous market place Mercat de la Boqueria is also located on La Rambla
