In a private room. Nice. Food was okay. They erred on colleague reservation & waited 9 hours to adjust. Otherwise good place to stay. Taxi drivers & residents have NO idea where this place is located. Hard to find even when say near the park. And hotel zero. Most beautiful views from this place of Mediterranean

Budget place with really good view. Just a bit far from the main road. Have to walk to the hotel if any concerts are going on.

Avoid the place if the concerts are going on nearby. Else a good place to stay and relax. If you can get a good deal then it is easy on pocket as well.

It's a nice little hotel. Free parking. Good views. Good service. A/C, free wifi, etc. The biggest complaint people have is the difficulty of finding it. Just set your GPS to Avinguda del Litoral and follow the road the end of Moll de la Vela. Don't try to navigate to the actual hotel, as you won't find it. There will be a gate at the end of Moll de la Vela road that will say "for authorized persons only" (in Spanish), just wait for the security guard to come out and confirm your reservation and you're in.

Room Tip: All rooms seem to have the view of the water

This hotel is a mixture between a hotel and a hostel and on their welcome note it is even referred to as a hostel. It was very hard to find as there were no signs, but thankfully there are many local people around as the hotel is in the middle of a recreational area (Parc Forum).

The hotel reception opened when needed. The room had a nice view of the sailing center and the sea. The room itself was nice and basic, but could have used a hoovering and a change of towels half way through. The walls were very thin and at times the place was noisy but not to a point of bothering us.

The breakfast was served late (from 08.30) so ended up missing it some mornings as needed to attend lectures that started earlier. Tried to ask for a sandwich or a fruit to be left for us on those mornings, but that wasn't possible. When leaving, our flight was in the early morning and we had to leave at 5 am. We were offered a sandwich and a bottle of water to be brought to us the previous evening by the manager who was sorry we'd missed some breakfasts, but we left with empty stomachs.

You also have to mind that the Parc Forum is gated and is opened to the public between 7 am and 10 pm. Outside those times you need to use the way the cars drive in.

All in all we had a lovely time in Barcelona and the hotel was just fine.

Room Tip: From the twin rooms there is a nice view to the front of the sailing club area and the sea. It also has it's private bathroom with a twin basin which is a big plus.
