Good small room to share with a roommate. Good cleaning. Breakfast, lunch and dinner everyday included. Laundry service (6€ do it your self, 9€ they do it for you). Far away from the center of Barcelona (Plaza Catalunya, Barceloneta...). There is a bus stop in front of the Residence and the Ferrocarril is close by.

The university is set in the hills of Barcelona in a more affluent suburb. It is the last stop on the bus from La Ramblas. We had booked the university as a last resort as weren't able to find accommodation for 10 at the last minute. Barcelona was our last stop as we visited Madrid and Valencia during a our holiday. Finding our way by bus was difficult. So please get a taxi. Arriving at the uni tired we went immediately to our rooms. The rooms are basic but have tv and ensuite. The kids went down to enjoy pool and futsbal. The residencia is clean and tidy, people are friendly and the age range varies from the young to old. Breakfast is great not very different from any hotel buffet but we didn't enjoy the dinner selection on the first days, which didn't matter as we were out all day for the rest of the holiday so ate in Law Ramblas. Great selling points for the kids were the poola. One on the rooftop and the second, a 30 sec walk across the rd at the gym which you have free access to. The residencia is set in beautiful greenery and the views from the rooftop are amazing. The staff are extremely helpful. The use of the laundry, TV room, games areas and the vending machines are a bonus. If your looking for 4* hotel standard this is not the place for you, however it's fantastic as somewhere affordable. The place grew on us over the days and the kids had a fantastic time.

We spent 4 days here, it was great, wish the vacation was longer. The room was clean (except a stain on the bed mattress) and it was cleaned by the personnel once every 2 days. The breakfast was included and we really had a lot to choose from. There was free wifi everywhere. So, all in all, i would definitely return. I don't know how the transport to the city center was like, because we came by car, which we easily used (the traffic in Barcelona was light, even if it was mid-August).

Fantastic stay for a group of friends, there was 10 of us in total staying for a long hen weekend. This was a great place to explore, we often used taxis as we visited restaurants and bars ~10-15 mins drive away. Staff were extremely helpful, couldn't ask for better service, especially taking into account the price per night reflecting budget accommodation. Rooms were very clean and modern, great shower, great roof top pool, impressive buffet lunch (9 euros) and breakfast (included). I would definitely stay again as a base for exploring Barcelona more.

To be honest, I wasn't expecting much when we booked into here for two nights, seeing that it was the university halls of residence.

Wrong! This is quite superb. From the great staff, superb facilities thrown in with the price such as the rooftop pool, access to gym, hot tub, sauna and so on. Also access to launder kit and safe parking under or over-ground for a small additional fee.

Rooms are university standard, so basic, but are very clean, neat and manageable. Our view was of the sports facilities and watching the parakeets in the trees by the window.

What's got us is the fab view from the rooftop terrace over Barcelona, and easy access to the town by the buses outside the door.

I recommend getting the buffet meals. All you can eat dinner for €9.50! Come on, do it! Top top quality food for minimal prices. You cannot get this quality for any cheaper anywhere in the city. And you can get a bottle of wine for an extra €6.

Actually writing this after demolishing the dessert of fruit and home made vanilla ice cream. Do I go for more, or get something else? I'm not sure, damn you first world problems, damn you! Anyway, can't, as I've got our laundry to finish
