The apartment is well equip with all needed set up for a short stay. It is exactly as advertised. It is very clean and a full set up kitchen with some basic ingredients as well for some home cooking. Good access via lift so that you do not need to worry about carrying the luggage to the apartment. Grocery stores and cafe nearby, good internet access, easy to reach metro etc. We enjoy our stay very much
We stayed at this fantastic little apartment quite near downtown for two weeks from May 10 – 24.
Miguel, the owner, is a great guy and he has set up a newly renovated place that has two bedrooms and a fold-out couch in the living room.
On arrival, w he had a little surprise for use in terms of a plate of sliced fuet, orange juice, wine and madeleines.
A nicely appointed bathroom with a shower and, best of all, a full kitchen with all the trimmings (gas stove and oven, pots, pans, salt, pepper, sugar and a great little coffee machine) make this an excellent headquarters for a visit to one of the most civilized cities in the world.
Staying at this apartment allows you the privilege (if only for a short time) of living like a citizen of Barcelona. There’s a washing machine that we took advantage of, as well as – naturally – a cool little clothesline just outside the back window.
The location is off the tourist track and a mere fifteen minute (brisk) walk south of the Sagrada Familia. Probably 30 to 35 minutes from the nearest beach to the south, Plaza de la Catalunya (to the west) and 20 minutes from the nearest Enterprise car rental location to the southwest.
There are two grocery stores nearby (to the west) as well as the Encana Barcelona just around the corner to the southeast – just the other side of the Teatro nacional de catalunya. At this huge market, you’ll see people in hundreds of stalls, selling everything from key chains to washing machines every Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
Beside the main grocery store five minutes’ walk to the west, there’s a row of tapas places, catering various types of cuisine from South American to Nepalese curry. We enjoyed the curry best of all. And just around the corner from this area – or up on the Gran Via, you’ll find Santander bank machines.
Thanks, Miguel – we can’t wait to see you again and rent your “piso” for another visit to your amazing city!

We stayed here for 3/4 nights at the end of April and beginning of May. the suite is tiny but not unusual size for European standards. super clean and very functional. good location as only about a 10minute walk to the beach, 15 minute walk to Sagrada Familia and about 20 minute walk from the Gothic Area. Lots of Bistro's around as well as markets and pharmacies. Taxi ride is only about 6 minutes from the Gothic area if you don't like to walk. Felt very safe in the neighborhood as residential. Easy to find. Our Host, Miguel was superb! Will go back! :D
We are currently staying in the apartment for our trip to Barcelona. Migeul was very good to deal with leading up to our stay, and was true to everything he said. The location is really nice, you can walk to a lot of places, and the metro if needed is steps away. I would definitely recommend this apartment rental to anyone coming to Barcelona.
