clean and well located, 2 metro stops from Paseo de Gracia and close to Sagrada Familia, Apartment Owner was very kind . A very good experience, visit Barcelona. I recommend Sagrada Familia and Ramblas, tapas,paella, beautiful!!

Overall, we got by in this place and it was close to the Sagrada Familia. The apt is in a building that has the faded with age look of peeling paint and musty smells, cage elevator. The apt has tgood internet and lots of cable tv stations including several English language news channels which was great. The kitchen is well supplied and the main double bed was comfortable. The washer occupied the small covered balcony but it was difficult to get clothes to dry on the lines when there was no sun. It is very difficult to upack as the place is really short of closet space, hooks and any sort of shelf in the bathroom. The owner seemed willing to work on these issues and generally seems to care about his guests. I do not think it is appropriate to be asking guests from North America to be lighting gas heters with matches in order to have a hot shower though, this is not something we are used to doing and could be unsafe. The hot water should be on when guests arrive! This could be more important than providing croissants, juice and milk on arrival (which was a nice gesture). The pull out couch in the main room was uncomfortable to sit on as the cusions keep sliding out and it is getting old, probably should be replaced. Also be aware that it is about 20 mins subway to centre of the action in Barcelona and requires a line change. This was not obvious to us from reading the web site. The place is kept very clean even if the building is not. The host is very easy to deal with and I hope he will make the small upgrades to provide a more home like atmosphere.

Miguel is a great host, very helpful and attentive. He left us breakfast for the first day and gave us tips for things to do and eat. He was very quick to reply always and there when we needed help. The apartment is exactly as described. Very clean and a great place for up to for friends or a family. Very well situated, in fact we barely used public transport as it is easy to walk everywhere! It made our trip to Barcelona a great experience and we truly felt at home!

Miguel and Carolina were extremely friendly and helpful. Miguel responded quickly to all communication and Carolina met us with a welcoming gift and gave us information for seeing the city. We enjoyed being within walking distance to most attractions and the metro. Complete amenities were within walking distance. The apartment was comfortable and clean.
