Had lunch there today, place was full but not too noisy, tons of fresh fish and seafood, pick, pay, collect your cooked order, the starters came super quick, the rest at perfect time, an impressive big green salad, wonderful fresh ciabatta bread. Price/quality very very good. Self-service, which works really ok, quality of food - excellent! Probably the best calamari rings in town.

Get prepared for a long line but it worths in the end :) you have to decide what you want to eat and the amount and the way you want it cooked before you reach the counter ( not much time to think there for the sake of the people behind) and the prices are reasonable compared to most Barcelona seafood restaurants and the kitchen staff were so sympathetic and helpful as I kept asking which number they were serving (announced in Spanish:))

Recommended by our Steel Donkey Bicycle Tour Guid Maria for fresh seafood. Long line at opening as everyone orders at the counter, the order is weighed and sent to the kitchen for preparation. Food was awesome, yet simple as is the atmosphere. Four of us had two lobsters, tuna, mussels, oysters, shrimp, calamari and beer for around $80USD.

Very cool fish market with kitchen. You choose your fish, you tell them whether you want it fried or grilled and they will then pass it on to the kitchen already and call you when it's ready. It's cheap just maybe the only negative is that there isn't much choice but that of course depends on the period of the year and what they get from the fishermen.

We ordered calamars, shrimps, shells, octopus, baby fish and everything was great. It served with garlis sause, and shells with tomato sause it fits there perfectly. Sea food was very fresh and delicious. Maybe you should try a different restaurant la pardeta (cause it has many restaurants in Barcelona) because in this one was very long lines.
