We often come to La Tratto when on Holiday in Sitges. When we arrived later than planned, we headed striaght to 'La Trat'. Food was just as good if not better than our last visit two years earlier! They make the thinnest tastiest pizzas around and produce large plentiful and unusual salads. The staff are lovely, recommending tasty dishes and house specialities. You can choose from one of their many pizza choices or add an ingredient to their existing choices. We added mushrooms to the spinach and goat cheese and it was lovely. It's just opposite the railway station but on the Pueblo Sec side and is only 5 mins stroll through the underpass. Really is worth the effort.

So located on the other side of the railway tracks.... make the effort and go away from the sea front where the locals eat. Great food simply cooked with good flavours. Wished we found it earlier

We have visited Sitges six times over the last decade and have eaten at this restaurant every time ... this time twice! We keep returning Not just because they make wonderful thin pizzas and the service is great but also because the staff are so friendly.
This time we tried the Santiago almond tart which came with a sherry to poor over, when we said how wonderful it was we were given another glass each. It is a little out of the main drag (just the other side of the railway line) but worth the effort.

I went with friends to Sitges to celebrate a friendsa birthday and randomly googled this restaurant and thought we'd go here since the menue was quite ecclectic. There was vegetarian dishes, spanish, italian, african food etc. and I thought there would be something for everyone. The decor looks like it's previously been a chinese restaurant, but now had a more african meets the west indies vibe with reggie music playing from a projector being projected onto the wall. At first when I sat down I got a bit nervous thinking, can all the food from so many different places really be authentic or at least prepared well and tasty. It was, the food and the wine was very good. The hummus has a bit of curry in it and the bread was sliced perfectly thin and tosted into perfection. The pizza and pasta was good, the coffee as well as the desserts. The vibe of the restaurant was very cozy and a lot of locals seemed to eat here. It is licated west of the train track and in the more quiet residential part of Sitges which isn't loud, not touristy or tacky, just very lowkey. The people working here also had a great vibe, they seemed to really enjoy working there and we had a very handsome flirty waiter, never a bad thing for a business. We went back there a second tine and I plan to return every time I go to Sitges because the whole experience was very original, relaxed and most of all, the food excellent. The last perfect touch was that we got a fortune cookie when paying which left me feeling like I got a little bit of of everything from different cultures in the world. We all loved it. Highly recommend this to anyone who likes a relxaed vibe in an original setting that is completely different from the overall vibe of Sitges, which also is great of course.
