The apartment is stunning, it is superbly furnished to a high standard with everything you could wish for and more. It is also in a great location and has fantastic views. This is the best rental property we have stayed in Gibraltar and is definitely a cut above the rest. The service we receive from both the owner and property manager in Gibraltar was excellent. Highly recommended, we will definitely be going back.

“What a find!”
Reviewed 9 May 2014 for a stay in May 2014

This beautiful apartment was ideal both in its location and style. You would want for nothing. The owner even leaves complimentary spirits as a welcome in payment for watering the lovely plants on the ample sunny terrace. Lots of helpful information to help your stay be ideal regarding attractions, restaurants and bus routes as well as taxi numbers, Gibraltar is a lovely friendly place with lots to do and plenty of really good fish and seafood restaurants all reasonably priced.

“Well worth it!”
Reviewed 24 October 2011 for a stay in October 2011

The apartment was lovely. Okay the views from the patio could have been better but to be honest it wasn't that bad and I'm just being pickey! The patio/balcony was lovely in the warm sunshine.
Took us a bit of time to find the swimming pool - which we ended up noticing from the balcony! The gym is near the pool too and seems to have all the up to date stuff - never really got a chance to use it though.
No idea where to put your rubbish though so may be a problem in the heat of summer.
The handover to collect the keys and give them back was no problem at all.
It would have been handy to have some directions as the street maps aren't brilliant for such a small place! Morrisons is only about a 15minute walk away - cut through Edinburgh House (turn right out of the building and 3rd exit back towards to the airport) turn right at the end and then left, past the hospital and it's on your right! Open all sorts of hours - better than the UK!
The Main street is again only about a 10minute walk - cross right across the road and walk up the steps and you are basically there. About 20 min walk to the cable car.
Despite having my 74 year old mum with us, we walked most places. We got a cab from the airport but otherwise we didn't bother as it seemed more hassle to try and get one.
Buses are great, if the timetables are a bit confusing - perhaps that was just me! But we walked most places as it was a lot easier and nothing was that far away. We got a bus once hoping to be taken to Morrisons from Casemates Square but it stopped at the Frontier and didn't go any further - even the locals were a bit annoyed!

Don't believe the guides when it says Gibraltarians welcome you and try to be really nice and helpful - we found the customer service in bars and restaurants a little wanting which was quite disappointing. It's mainly the ex-pats who seem more friendly.
Back to the apartment - struggled a bit with the air-conditioning, the cooker and the boiler but soon got it sorted. The apartment has everything you could possibly need including towels. Welcome pack could have included some milk as coffee and tea was provided but unless you liked it black.... Not sure what make the coffee was but it was rather tasteless and I'm not fussy with coffee at all!
Would we go back again? To Gibraltar - probably but would go with my husband next time. To the apartment - definitely.
