We checked in for one night to allow us to sample the delights of Logroño. On arrival we was given a twin room which we mistakenly booked. We asked to change to a double and this was arranged straight away. The reception staff was very welcoming and helpful...even giving us a complimentary glass of wine in the hotel bar.
The room was modern and nicely decorated with a spacious bathroom.
We went to the bar for the complimentary wine. The bar staff wasn’t so friendly so we didn’t stay as the bar just lacked any kind of atmosphere. Plus we was the only ones there.
The hotel is located just 10 mins walk from Calle Laurel where you will experience some of the best tapas ever. Amazing food and atmosphere around this area. We will definitely be returning to Logroño and would consider staying at the Mercure again.

Hotel room was of a good size and spotless. The only thing letting the stay down was at checkout since the receptionist person could not seem to operate the card payment system, saying my cards were invalid - which was total nonsense since I used my credit card just before booking out and at a petrol station immediately afterwards. I ended up paying cash since the receptionist person seemed indifferent to his inability to take card payments!!

We are staying in this area on business and we like this location due to the downtown area of services. It is nearby many food places with options for walking around to see the local area. The rooms are updated and comfortable. Good wifi and good morning breakfast. If you like a drink the bar is also fully stocked for good service and nice view of the city. I will ask to stay here again on my next visit.

Enjoyed our stay, Helpful staff, nice room with comfortable bed. Car park is small so if you have a large car, book space 23 which was great for our estate. The lady receptionist who checked us in was very helpful with information about the town. Would definitely stay again.
