We were a party of 14 lads and booked the accoomodation about 6 weeks ahead of our weekend away.
Coming from London, we weren't familiar with the layout of Madrid - but this appartment is slap bang in central Madrid - within easy reach of really nice squares with good bars and eateries such as Plaza Mayor, Plaza St Ana, Sol etc.
In terms of amenities, we were right on top of a supermarket that opened late, enabling us to grab needed groceries etc from early morning right through to the evening.
The landlord was very communicative leading up to the weekend. On arrival, the appartment was really clean and there were enough clean towels laid out for all 14 of us.
In terms of beds, there were enough for 10 of us to have our own bed to ourselves and a two pairs of lads had to share.
We were due to check out of the appartment at 1100. I called up at 1055 to say we were ready to vaccate. When the landlord found out we had evening flights back to London, she said that we were more than welcome to leave our bags locked at the flat until 1700 - whcih enabled us to enjoy our last day wondering the great city and nearby Plazza's without having to worry about lugging luggage around.
The only downside is that the accommodation is on the third floor and there are several steps to get up to the flat - which might be an issue for people with mobility issues - but fully fit people should not have any problems.
Overall, with a party this size, I would definitely re-book this accomodation if coming back to Madrid.
