I loved the place! Very nicely decorated, French music, great service, very welcoming.
What’s more important for me, the restaurant welcomes dogs, so I could stop by for ‘merienda’ while walking around with my dog.
The kitchen is open all day, which is very convenient if you feel hungry earlier than typical Spanish dinner time. The restaurant also has tables outside, and menu del dia option for lunch.
The staff is professional and friendly.
I’ll definitely come back for dinner to enjoy the great selection of French food!

Given the good reviews we were looking forward to our dinner here; we had reserved a table and arrived at the restaurant at the appointed time....and stood waiting to be noticed. The man who appeared to be the owner was busy drinking at the bar, his employees didn't appear to notice us..not the welcome we expected!
We were then shown into a small room at the rear of the restaurant where too many tables are crammed in. For most of the meal we were assailed by loud american style music which, thankfully, towards the end of our dinner was suddenly turned off, at leat in the room where we were eating.
I found the steak tartare too elaborated: either there was too much oil, or some additional ingredient had been added to the traditional recipe. A steak tartare should be slightly tart, with a sharp cutting taste that excites the taste buds. This one, for me at least, seemed a little "greasy" and I did not enjoy it. The French red wine was full bodied but without charm. The "selection of cheeses" was a joke: one small piece of a soft cheese, a small piece of blue and a larger chunk of some hard cheese that looked and tasted like a block of indifferent supermarket Dutch cheese.
Though the waiters were charming, they seemed to lack some basic training: the bottle of mineral water from south west France was not opened at the table, so it could have been any water in the bottle (though I am not suggesting it was). The bottle of wine when it arrived was not the vintage year stated on the menu. The cheese selection was unceremoniously served with no explanation; in a Brasserie in France, in my experience, the customer would be told the origin of each cheese, and often in which order they should be eaten.
When we left, the supposed owner was still drinking at the bar...says it all!

We are very sorry you had a disappointing experience in our brasserie. Our waiters are always at your service when you need more explanations or for any other request as changing a dish you're not satisfied with. We hope you will come back and will have a better time.

Had dinner here end of February. 2 starters ordered one came so we had to shared. Mains arrived, entrecôte ok the recommended beef bourguignon was well under. Tough meat and raw veg with a v thin sauce. Save money and eat Spanish.

Thank you for your visit. We are sorry you got a deceptive experience in our brasserie. Maybe, was a misunderstanding about your order of starters, it could have been solved easily with the waitress. Our "boeuf bourguignon" is made in the tradicional style and well appreciated by customers from French, Spanish and English origins as well. We hope you will visit us again and have a nicer experience.

Though it may seem surprising, there aren´t many French restaurants to be found in Madrid. Therefore coming across Brasserie Antoinette was a very pleasant surprise. I´ve been there twice (once for lunch, once for dinner) and both times enjoyed it very much. The décor is very stylish. They´ve obvioulsy spent a fortune to renovate and decorate this property. The food is very tasty. Service is pleasant and improving as they go along. (They´ve been open barely over a month).

We visited Brasserie Antoinette after seing the French movie Haute Cuisine, so kinda had thematic dinner. The beetroot-maracuya sauce acompanying the duck dish was explosion of flavour. I was very impressed by the dessert-cafee with petit fours. The all 3 waiters matching the place in the good sense. Loved the art deco touches in the interior design. Would like to repeat the great experience very soon!
