After much annoyance at finding this restaurant which is now called Xake me and my family all loved this restaurant. we were craving chinese and were not at all disappointed, my pregnat but fussy partner lapped up her meal and was struggling to finish what she had (minor miracle atm) I would def recomend this place and no issues with any of the staff.

The portions were very healthy and to feed a family of 4 for 36Euros is fantastic visit if you have the chance.

We passed this restaurant on our way to our apartment for the week and went back because we were craving good dim sum. The sui mai were terrific - the rest was variable. The pot stickers were strange - a weird taste. The mu shu pork was a surprise - no pancakes tho they did have pork, egg, and mushrooms. The pork was tough and we had to ask for plum sauce (or hoisin). They did, however, have hot chili oil, which helped. Almost good - we went back a second time, and the shu mai was still the winner. Should have just ordered several of those!

My friend & I have just returned from Madrid today and we were staying in an apartment that was a few doors along from this restaurant. It is not particularly smart - just a basic chinese restaurant but the food was excellent - too much of it though. Our meal, with a bottle of house white, came to 24€ and we had to ask for doggy bags as there was so much food!!!
The young chinese girls serving us were quick & friendly. We don't recognise the restaurant from the previous review!!!

We were in Madrid two years ago and had a wonderful expereince in Dong Ge. This year, we have booked the hotel near by so we could go to the restaurant as frequently as we like.
We went for an early lunch when the dinning area was totally empty. It came to our realization that the ownership is different from last time. As we were placing our order, the owner's kid was sreaming on top of her lung at the bar. I had just got off the flight and I really needed quiteness. So I said to the staff if the kid could be quite. The owner barked at me, saying that I was making a big deal out of a kid's normal behavior. If I couldn't tolerate with it, I could leave the restaurant.
I have never encountered with such a rudeness! So I gathered my bags to make my way out. He said to my friend that he didn't care about taking the stinky money from us, get our butts out!
I strongly don't recommend this restaurant to others if they look for courteous service.
