Myself my wife and in laws aged 78 and 82 have just returned from the Nereo after a ten night stay we were allocated rooms 814 and 815.The rooms are quite small but have a safe which at this time of year was free, mini fridge, and a t,v with some english channels. There is a good large shower with complimentary shampoos and shower gell. The room was clean although dated as was the hotel. We went on a full board basis the food was generally good but a limited choice, staff were very friendly particularly in the dinning room and bar.The entertainment was however awful and was geared up to the local spanish pensioners. All in all a warm break in what i would say was 3 star plus and made for the over 60s.

Room Tip: room 814 815 have limited sea view

This hotel has everything for the older holiday makers beautifully decorated and finished, good entertainment
reasonable food and drinks, and located opposite the main strip, away from the evening noise.
beware now that anyone needing mobility scooters to get around, are no longer allowed to take them in any
Servigroup hotel or on the premises for recharging, this condition is still under investigation for discrimination of
the disabled. one hotel the Venus had 35 scooters in the reception due to youngsters using them as a cheap form
of transport, my wife and i need the use of a scooter, but i agree a reception full of these is not acceptable.
the hotels should have the common sense to ban youngsters from using them in thier hotels unless they have
blue bagdes th prove their disability, so beware if you are disabled !

Dear bernardwood2015

Firstly, we would like to thank you for your nice comments about our hotel and we are glad to hear that you have enjoyed your stay.

With reference to the scooter parking areas, we would like to indicate that we always have in mind our disabled or limited mobility guests and proof of this is the improvement in the accessibility of our public areas as well as the increasing of the number of fully adapted disabled rooms. However, the parking zones designated to scooters could not meet demand and, therefore scooters invaded other zones, defeating the purpose of our accessibility program. This lead us to the decision of removing our designated scooter parking and charging areas.

Once again, thank you for your comments and we hope that this norm does not deter you from staying with us again in the future.

Kind regards,
Customer Service Department

Just returned. I requested a high floor that was facing the sea and this was granted so i was delighted. The room is not massive, just a standard double room which was fine, bathroom nice with a lovely large walk in shower, which was powerful and in good working order. Hairdryer in the room is always a good point for me too. Lovely large balcony which even in Feb, got the sun most of the day. We only stayed 3 nights and the maid was in every day. Food was fine, im very picky so found it very sameish but i say that for every hotel. We ate well anyway, so all good. Plenty of meat, fish, pastas with selection of cakes for pudding.... breakfast was lovely, plenty to eat and drink, the freshly squeezed orange juice was lovely. Location is perfect, close enough to walk to beach, shops and bars, yet positioned away from the noise! 100% i would return.

Room Tip: High room, pool facing.
