The actual hotel is generally very modern - in a good location minutes from the old town and port and very well refurbished and the staff were lovely and very helpful in the majority of areas although they were a bit sparse in some locations (not their fault) !

Reception staff were lovely and very helpful :-)

Its a very strange hotel and very difficult to give a review to as some things are really good and others are unfortunately sadly lacking ????

1st gripe - the roof top solarium (over 18 only area) which is great with a fitness pool and lots of sunbeds but the bar only opens in July and August so you need to either take your own refreshments or wander up and down in the lifts 5 floors to get them "very strange imho" they also have ZERO umbrellas or shaded areas up there and it was 30+ degrees this weekend ?

2nd gripe - there are absolutely ZERO sunbeds by the main pool area ?

3rd gripe - At Meal times it's absolute chaos (confirmation of this is the que outside the restaurant 30 mins before it opens so that the worried clients get food before the chaos starts) and the hotel seems to only provide staff to clear plates and not to help and organise clients we were only here on bed and breakfast and the breakfast was a complete disaster - you go and get the main items you want and then spend so much time searching for butter - bread - jam - sauces etc etc etc that when you get back to the table your food is lukewarm at best ! its a real shame because the actual choices and quality of food were really good but the shabby and very disappointing organisation spoilt it !

4th gripe - the bedrooms - bed was a 7 out of 10 comfort wise - aircon was really good - bathroom was great including the shower apart from the fact it flooded the bathroom and there was no bidet - only 1 pillow on the bed which was really hard and uncomfortable :-(

This is our 2nd visit here and it's not there yet and needs a few tweaks to improve it and improve the ratings mainly the dining room as that currently is a complete mess and needs serious attention - but other areas also need some thought !

We would return for a 3rd visit but hope that the owners motivate themselves and improve the current issues that the hotel has :-)

Room Tip: ask for a pool view

The room was very clean and spacious with a balcony.

Swimming pool was small with only table and chairs – no sun loungers so you would have to lay on the fake grass on your towel. There is a sun lounging area on the 5th floor and this is for adults only with a very small pool (think of a paddling pool). I wouldn’t bring my children here as no poolside activity and a very small pool.

Food was a big let-down for us as it was mostly meat, fish and mushrooms. The only other vegetarian option was salad, pasta or soup and that wasn’t at every lunch or dinnertime, therefore as vegetarians we really struggled. The Chef did his best to accommodate us but other than soup or omelette there wasn’t a variety for us so our money here was not good value. However if you eat meat then you would not be disappointed as there was plenty of it. In addition, if you drink wine then you got a bottle of red and white (I think) with your room number on it and if you couldn’t finish it at lunch then they would keep it chilled until dinner. However like us if you don’t drink alcohol then the only option was to drink water (that’s right – no soft or fizzy drinks available at lunch or dinner!).

There was free Wi-Fi all over the building with strong connections and the ability to use the internet on a PC free.

Local supermarkets were nearby too along with restaurants and the beach.

The staff were very very friendly, even those who could not speak English would do their best to help. When they became stuck they would search for someone who could help but they never abandoned you!

The hotel had a secure room to leave your belongings once you’d checked out if you needed to use the room. The hotel also had a after check out shower and changing room area which came in good use for us. Our check out was 12 noon and our flight was 9pm so we went off to the beach for a few hours and used the hotels’ shower room and changing area to clean up – they even gave us fresh towels to use and the water was very nice and hot!

We will defo book the hotel again but only bed and breakfast.

Very Spanish hotel get to breakfast early or you'll get nothing
Evening entertainment all Spanish
No parking No kettle in room no fridge till after 1st June and NO air con pools are cold enough to cool you down tho
Very nice clean rooms but that's the only good point
Noisy at front of hotel because of children's play area
Won't be returning checked out 2 days early

Great Hotel catering mainly for Spanish, Great quiet location nice room with pool view. The only downside was the food.....good choice and quality would probably be acceptable but so so cold....not even warm. Yes there is a microwave but when you have salad on your plate..!!! when i put tinned plum tomatoes on my breakfast plate you would of expected them to of been cooked, not just emptied from tin into bowl making a very tepid breakfast very cold. Chef standing looking at the food display and not seeming to care that food isnt hot. Also seating in dining area very close together so my tip is to get an end table. Great coffee machine in the am. Free Wifi in room very strong and able to stream its so good.

Room Tip: floor 2 wifi was still good not sure about higher floors, go B+B not HB plenty of places to eat
